The cultural immersion pillar of Dandjoo Darbalung facilitates the sharing of Indigenous culture with 350 non-Indigenous residents in the College to elevate, celebrate and educate Indigenous culture on a wider and inclusive scale.
From early 2018, selected non-Indigenous residents will participate in structured 'Cultural Ambassadors' program to gain a deeper, more meaningful understanding of Indigenous culture.
Cultural Ambassadors will be provided training by Indigenous Elders prior to going to country to apply their knowledge in an authentic bush experience. They will see first-hand how the storylines of Indigenous culture are woven into the land.
More information and applications will be provided in February 2018.
