Bloom's Volunteers

Most of Bloom's 50 passionate volunteers are comprised of high-achieving students who hail from a variety of backgrounds. Many have experience in entrepreneurial ventures themselves.

Darren Lomman — CEO

Aside from being the Chief Executive Officer of Bloom, Darren is no stranger to the world of start-up business. He began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 19, founding non-profit organisation Dreamfit from his garage.

After meeting a paraplegic man who dreamed of riding a motorcycle again, Darren has devoted his time to helping people with disabilities reach their goals and overcome challenges. He has designed and created wheelchairs suited to the beach or mountain climbing, bikes to suit every need, and of course, motorcycles successfully operated by people who are paraplegic.

Presently, Darren splits his time between Bloom, Dreamfit, and his latest passion project, plastic recycling start-up Greenbatch.
