Bloom Programs

Bloom at St Catherine’s College is WA’s premier youth innovation organisation, with the mission to “develop the enterprising skills of young West Australians”. It was launched in 2013 and has supported over 5,000 young people and 100 start-ups. Working together with other youth innovation partners we have created the Centre for Youth Innovation, helping more young people learn relevant skills in a changing workforce.

Innovation Education Consulting

Bloom’s Innovation Education Consulting programs are designed to deliver innovation and entrepreneurial courses to high school students through the current structures of the school system. It is aimed to improve access to, and quality of, innovation and entrepreneurship programs to school age students.

Youth Innovator Sprint at Perth College

The Youth Innovation Sprint is an 8-week course delivered to Perth College students. The program provides the foundations of how to turn an idea into a sustainable entrepreneurial venture.

High School Innovation Camp

Bloom’s Innovation Camp aims to bring students from regional schools into Perth and provide them with a week of engaging activities. The students will be educated on topics from innovation to pitching skills, that can further their future career and assist them throughout their school years.

Launchpad Unit

Launchpad is a 12-week program that lets you develop a business idea and get academic credit towards your university degree.

Shine Leadership Program

Shine is a 6-week leadership course focused on you. Learn core transferable skills that can help with your current studies and develop you as a future leader.    

Cyber-Security Workshops

A 6-week workshop for 12-18 year olds learning how to tackle real life challenges in the Cyber-Security industry. This program was run in conjunction with the Innovation Institute.  

Data Science Workshops

This program, scheduled for later in 2021, will lead young individuals to thinking through problems and solutions in the Data Science Industry. This program was run in conjunction with the Innovation Institute.

The community events and workshops that Bloom provides aims to engage the internal and external Bloom community and provide individuals with a value add to their time with Bloom.

Speaker Series 

Bloom’s Speaker Series brings professionals who have innovated throughout their lives into the Bloom space to educate our community. Our speakers have a wide range of entrepreneurial knowledge to share, to inspire individuals to make change in their community like they have.
