Premium Single Room

As a first year, international, study abroad or exchange student, living in a Premium Single Room is the surest way to make friends as you’ll have all your meals together in the Dining Hall every day. All our rooms are semi-furnished and professionally serviced weekly. Just bring your own linen and anything else you need to make your room home.

Our Premium Single Rooms are generous in size, with plenty of room for you to personalise and accessorise your space.

While having the privacy of your own room is excellent, you will quickly discover that your wing and communal facilities play a big part in helping you meet your peers and develop new friendships.

About our original buildings

Built in 1960 with funds that were raised by the Women's College Fund Committee over 32 years, our original buildings are of particular significance to everyone in our College community.

It's been designed to support the greatest features of life at St Catherine's as a new resident, where socialising with friends and great corridor conversations are a regular occurrence.

How are rooms allocated?

Premium Single Rooms are primarily for students who are in their first year at university as well as all international, study abroad and exchange students.

The senior staff are responsible for the allocation of rooms. A variety of factors will be taken into account when placing residents in accommodation areas. These include availability, seniority, academic needs and community considerations.
