Sport and Fitness
You have the choice to participate in 20 different sports, accompanied by strong levels of support and encouragement from the rest of the College.
Sport is an important part of life at St Catherine's and with high participation rates, the College placed first in the annual inter-college Sports Cup in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The packed inter-college sports calendar features an event every weekend, from athletics to AFL, swimming, soccer, hockey, tennis, netball, cricket, touch rugby, rowing, volleyball, and more.
Our sporting community is also active within the college, whether you enjoy a casual throw of frisbee, or a hit of volleyball in one of our courtyards.
Free UWA Sport membership
As a resident at St Catherine's, you will receive a valuable, all-inclusive UWA Sport membership, which will give you access to UWA's Recreation and Fitness Centre. Staying fit and active has never been this easy!
The modern UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre is fully equipped with everything you need for a good workout, including more than 120 cardio and resistance weight machines. You'll also have access to more than 45 group fitness classes each week, as well as indoor and outdoor courts including squash, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball and indoor soccer.
