Food at St Cat's

The communal Dining Hall is a pivotal aspect of college living. Set meal times provide important opportunities for you to socialise, debate issues and eat together. You will be pleased to know that the in-house head chef and catering team will cater to every taste and dietary requirement — western, Asian, vegetarian, gluten-free and more!

We also host some of the most spectacular events on College Row, many of which take place in our Dining Hall.

Indigenous Access

The Indigenous Access Flagship Program, Dandjoo Darbalung, has dedicated spaces for all residents to practice culture, catch-up on study, get tutoring or meet up with friends. The spaces are also the heart of Dandjoo Darbalung's two-way cultural immersion, offering opportunities to learn more about the rich culture of Australia's First Peoples.

Music Rooms

When you've had enough quiet time, the College has two sound-proof music rooms. Our College also has five pianos, including a Bösendorfer and a Blüthner Grand Piano, two full drum kits, music stands and adjustable music chairs.

Outdoor Courtyards

St Catherine’s is designed around a series of interconnected courtyards, each with its own theme. You will find spaces to sit and dream or places to kick a footy. Fountains splash in some courtyards; a BBQ sizzles in another.
