Orientation Week 2023

Orientation Week runs the week before the university semester starts. The week-long orientation is designed to help you, as a new resident, settle comfortably into your new living and learning environment.

Orientation Week (O'Week)

Our College is an engaging and vibrant community for students looking to create the career of their dreams. We’re the next generation of curious creatives, entrepreneurs and bosses that spark conversation around the topics they’re passionate about.

Orientation Week or “O’Week” as you’ll come to know it - is all about welcoming you! For our new residents, we organise orientation the week before your classes begin so you’ll be able to discover the College, experience College life and meet new friends.

O’Week is an important event to attend because it’s packed full of welcomes, information sessions, workshops, tours and fun activities designed to help you meet people and adjust to college life.

Don't forget to wear your lanyard so we can know who you are!

Who can participate in O'Week?

The following residents are eligible to attend all O’Week activities and events:

  • all residents who are new to the College in a Single Room or Studio Room,

  • those who did not have the Orientation Program Fee as part of their contracts but have explicitly indicated that they would like to participate in O’Week in their Optional Extras Form.

Some O’Week activities will be emailed to you and are open to everyone at St Catherine's. Please refer to the O’Week timetable for more details.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have mandatory activities on at your university, they take precedence over College activities. There will be catch-up sessions on at College.

Sign-up for some O’Week activities is required and we cannot allow entry if you have not done so. Activity sign up is coming soon!
