As your students start to think about their university prospects, it would be handy to know about all the options available to them. Here you'll find all the information you need to help them make the best decision.

Why choose St Catherine's?

Over the last 70 years, we've built a strong reputation as one of the leading residential colleges in Australia and are well known for the innovative programs we offer and the warm and welcoming culture of the community.

Do residents have to be studying at UWA?

St Catherine's is open to students studying at any of the five universities in Perth. However, due to our proximity, most residents study at UWA.

How early should students start thinking about College?

St Catherine's has a waiting list, so its important to start investigating and apply as soon as possible.

Applying to live at St Catherine's is separate from the application to study at university. The process is managed through the UWA Residential Colleges Application Portal. A one-off non-refundable registration fee applies, and the portal will accept applications up to 12 months before your expected commencement at university.

We also realise that not all students would have the financial means to afford a College of this calibre, so we have an extensive scholarship fund to support high-achieving students.
