Apply For Residency

Thank you for choosing St Catherine's College! Applying to live at St Catherine's College is a simple, 4-step process. Here's everything you need to know to submit your application.

Step 1: Complete Online Application

Complete the online application on the UWA Residential Colleges Application Portal. This online application is managed by the UWA Student Residences department and is the same for all the UWA residential colleges.

Please nominate St Catherine’s College as your first preference.

This will ensure that your application will be forwarded to us as soon as you have paid your Portal Registration Fee and fully completed the online application. Other than the Portal Registration Fee, there is no obligation to pay any college specific fees at this stage until you have signed a contract.

If you are a current resident seeking re-admission, please submit your application on our College Portal.

Step 2: Submit Two Referee Report Forms

You will need to provide two Referee Report forms in support of your application. Please ask your nominated referees to send the completed Referee Report form directly to the College.

Forms can be submitted to our postal address (2 Park Road, Crawley WA 6009), or by email (admissions@stcatherines.uwa.edu.au).

Step 3: Interview with the Head of College

You will receive confirmation once we have received your online application and Referee Report forms. At this time, you will be asked to contact the College to arrange a suitable time for your applicant interview. This can be done in person or via telephone if you do not reside in Perth.

Please review our interview preparation information prior to your interview to ensure that you are well prepared before meeting our Head of College or Deputy Head of College.

It is also important that you familiarise yourself with the College’s Resident Handbook, which details our Code of Conduct and Guidelines to ensure that you know what is expected of you as a resident at St Catherine’s College.

Step 4: Application Outcome

Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of accommodation and will be required to sign a contract and pay a non-refundable fee to secure their place at the College. If you are not successful in your application, the UWA Residential Colleges Application Portal will forward your details to your next college of preference.
