Supporting Your Health and Wellbeing
Sport is an important part of College life and with high participation rates, the College placed first in the annual Inter-College Sports Cup in 2015 and 2016. We are currently leading the table again in 2017.
Residents have the choice to participate in 14 different sports, accompanied by strong levels of support and encouragement from the rest of the College.
Full Access to the UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre
All St Catherine's residents have free access to UWA's Recreation and Fitness Centre. Staying fit has never been this easy.
The modern UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre is fully equipped with everything you need for a good workout, including more than 120 cardio and resistance weight machines.
You also have access to more than 45 group fitness classes each week, as well as indoor and outdoor courts including squash, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball and indoor soccer.
Fit for Study Program
The Fit for Study program, provided in collaboration with UWA's Health Promotion Unit, is a unique, innovative suite of health and wellbeing projects that aims to assist residents maintain and improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing, build resilience, and reach their full potential.
